Information you provide
Project and free-session forms collect your name, email, phone number, company, selected country, selected interests, timing and brief. Your business website and industry are optional. A project enquiry may also include a budget guide. We record your request type, privacy acknowledgement, submission time and reference. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information in your brief.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, plan a requested conversation, send an acknowledgement and take steps towards a possible business relationship. We use limited operational data to protect the website and investigate delivery failures. Providing core contact details is necessary for us to respond; optional fields can be left blank.
Basis for handling information
We process enquiry information to respond to steps you request before a possible contract, and where appropriate on the basis of your consent. Website security and service administration support our legitimate interest in operating a reliable business. Where consent is the basis, you can withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already lawfully completed.
Email acknowledgements and notifications
When email delivery is enabled, your submitted details are used to notify the authorised VIU contact and send an acknowledgement to the email address you supplied. Our email delivery provider processes those messages. Delivery status and provider references are retained to investigate failures and avoid duplicate messages. Submitting a form does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
Country detection and the growth tool
The hosting service may suggest a country from an approximate IP location. You can override it, and India is an editable fallback. We do not request precise location or store raw IP addresses with enquiry records. Growth-calculator values stay in the page until you choose to include the scenario in an enquiry.
Who can access information
Authorised VIU personnel and necessary hosting, database and email-service providers may handle information for the purposes described here. We do not sell enquiry records. Information may be disclosed when required by law or to address a legitimate security or legal issue.
Resend and transactional email
We use Resend to send form acknowledgements and internal lead notifications. Message data can include the details supplied in your enquiry, delivery metadata and a provider message identifier. Transactional messages are sent to respond to your request and are not marketing subscriptions.
Storage and international processing
The website uses cloud hosting and a hosted database. Service providers may process information outside India or your country. Applicable transfer requirements and provider arrangements must be considered for international engagements. Contact us for information about the providers handling your enquiry.
How long information is kept
We retain information while needed to handle the enquiry, carry out an agreed relationship, maintain necessary business records or resolve a dispute. The relevance of the enquiry, any active agreement and legal record-keeping needs determine the period. You may request deletion of information that is no longer required.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses of your information. You may also withdraw consent where it is relied on and complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Contact us first if possible so we can address the concern. UK residents can find complaint information at ico.org.uk. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing records.
Analytics, attribution and privacy choices
Google Tag Manager manages our measurement setup. Google Analytics is allowed only after you accept optional analytics. We may then store campaign details such as UTM values, Google or Meta click identifiers, the landing page, referrer and first- and last-touch source in first-party browser storage and attach them to an enquiry so we can understand which campaigns led to it. We do not send your name, email, phone number, company or message to analytics. You can review or withdraw your choice using the Privacy choices control. The hosting platform may still use essential security features and operational logs. External sites have their own privacy terms.
Security incidents
If we become aware of a personal-information incident, we assess its scope, take reasonable containment steps and make notifications where applicable law requires them. You should contact us promptly if you believe information submitted to VIU has been exposed or misused.
Children and changes
The services and free sessions are intended for business enquiries, not children. If a child’s information has been submitted, contact us so we can review it. We may update this policy when the website or its processing changes.
